The club holds regular training sessions Tuesday and Thursday mornings on campus at 6am (seasonal variations apply) at the ferry stop. These sessions are for any riders who want to work on bike handling skills or improve on their current level of fitness. The sessions are fairly informal and are generally 1 hour in duration. They are a great way to improve your skills and get fit while meeting other club members.

On Saturday mornings, starting at 6.00am during summer months and 6:30am during winter months near the ferry stop, we used to have a race simulation run in three grades to cater for all levels of rider and licensed/unlicensed riders. Race distances were generally between 30 & 40 kilometres. After this was breakfast at a local bakery followed by a ride around the river, down to the bay or whatever you felt like.
